The Queen of New Westminster, built in 1964 in Victoria, runs between Horseshoe Bay and Departure Bay for BC Ferries. It is another of the BC Ferries Vessels that was called into refit in 2004.

McRae Electric was contracted once again to do all the electrical work on board.

Mid-Life Upgrade

    • Design build of electric instrumentation system to replace mechanical instrumentation system for monitoring of main engines, generators, bow thruster, and CPP pressures
    • Specification of product / part selection for instrumentation and meters
    • AutoCAD drawings of controls / installation
    • Field wiring of instrumentation
    • Custom built panel doors to replace existing control room panel doors complete with necessary meters and wiring
